What qualifies?

Do I need to do anything at checkout?

No. Qualifying items under $100 are tax-free automatically, whether your order ships to a Texas address or you pick it up in store at any of our locations in Houston (Harwin and Airline) and Dallas. Note that the tax shown in your cart and at checkout is an estimate; the exemption is applied when your order is placed, and your order confirmation shows the exact tax charged. For qualifying items, that means $0.

Do discounts count toward the $100 limit?

Yes, in your favor. The limit applies to the price you actually pay. If a discount, including our Spirit Week offer, brings an item under $100, it can qualify.

What about belts, buckles, and accessories?

State rules exclude accessories such as belt buckles sold on their own, jewelry, bags, and wallets. The exact tax on any item is calculated automatically when your order is placed, following the state's rules.

What if I'm shipping outside of Texas?

Texas sales tax only applies to orders delivered in Texas, so this holiday does not change orders shipped to other states or countries. Those follow their own local rules as usual.

What if I think I was charged tax by mistake?
