What qualifies?

Most clothing, boots and footwear, and hats priced under $100 per item, purchased in Texas or picked up in store. We gathered the qualifying styles in one place: shop the Tax-Free Weekend collection.

How do I make sure I get the exemption?

Choose in-store pickup at checkout. Pickup orders have no shipping charge, so every qualifying item under $100 stays tax-free. Pick up at any of our locations in Houston (Harwin and Airline) and Dallas.

Why did my shipped order get taxed?

Texas counts shipping as part of an item's price for the $100 limit, and the final tax on shipped orders is calculated automatically at checkout. If you were charged tax on a shipped order you believe qualified, reach out to our team and we will take a look.

Do discounts count toward the $100 limit?

Yes, in your favor. The limit applies to the price you actually pay. If a discount, including our Spirit Week offer, brings an item under $100, it can qualify.

What about belts, buckles, and accessories?

State rules exclude accessories such as belt buckles sold on their own, jewelry, bags, and wallets. The exact tax on any item is calculated automatically at checkout following the state's rules.

What if I'm shipping outside of Texas?

Texas sales tax only applies to orders delivered in Texas, so this holiday does not change orders shipped to other states or countries. Those follow their own local rules as usual.

When does it end?
